Frequently Asked Questions
What presentation formats are supported?
MightyMeeting supports presentations in Microsoft Office and PDF formats. If you have a presentation in another format, e.g. Keynote, convert it to PDF or PPT before uploading it to MightyMeeting.
How do I upload a presentation?
You can email us a presentation at upload@mightymeeting.com from the same email address that you used to register with the service. You can also upload a presentation at www.mightymeeting.com.
I uploaded a presentation but it looks stretched. Why?
At the moment, we support and enforce the traditional 4:3 aspect ratio: 640x480, 960x720, etc. Please reformat your presentation to match this ratio and try uploading it again. We do plan to support other types of presentations as well.
How do I delete a presentation?
In the webapp, click on the presentation in the list and then click on "EDIT" followed by a a click on "DELETE". In an iOS app, flick your finger left to right over the presentation in the list and then tap "Delete". On Android, touch the presentation in the list and hold your finger there for a few moments. Then choose "Delete" from the menu that appears.
How long does it take to process a presentation?
It usually takes two to five minutes. The actual time depends on the system load and the size of the presentation.
Email us if you think that your presentation is stuck in the conversion queue and we will investigate. Problems may be caused by macros, ActiveX controls, exotic fonts, and other "unusual" items embedded in presentations.
If your PowerPoint presentation cannot be processed for some reason, try uploading it in PDF format.
Do I need to install a native app before I can join a web meeting?
No. Meeting participants do not need to install anything. One can start or join a web meeting using the MightyMeeting web application that can be accessed via a web browser running on a desktop, an iPhone, an iPod Touch, iPad, or an Android phone.
Do I need a Wi-Fi connection to start or join a meeting?
No. The design of the solution ensures that meetings can be held over a 3G wireless connection.
Can I display slides from my iPad using a projector?
Yes. You will need to get the iPad Dock Connector to VGA Adapter at the Apple Store.
