Overview

With MightyMeeting, you can manage a private library of presentations directly from your computer, iPod Touch, or iPhone. MightyMeeting supports presentations in Microsoft Office or PDF formats.
Presentations can be uploaded online or forwarded to MightyMeeting via email. They are automatically indexed by a powerful search engine. They can be tagged with keywords for quick retrieval.
With MightyMeeting you can start or join web meetings directly from your computer or smart phone. Starting a web meeting is as easy as finding the right presentation and clicking the “Meet Now Online” button. Meeting invitations can be sent out via email or SMS. Meeting attendees can follow the presentation in real-time and exchange instant messages.
MightyMeeting design ensures that web meetings can be held over 3G or Wi-Fi wireless connection. With MightyMeeting you can be on a voice call and in a web meeting simultaneously. This enables you to make your case and deliver a powerful presentation virtually anytime and anyplace.
MightyMeeting presentations can be private or public. Private presentations are only visible to you. They can be sent via email or shared temporarily in online meetings. Public presentations can be viewed by anyone. They can be posted as blog entries or shared via Facebook or Twitter.
Managing Your User Profile
Logging In
When you launch the MightyMeeting application on your iPhone, you are presented with the login screen.
If you previously registered on the MightyMeeting web site, you can enter your email and password now and touch the "Login" button in the upper right corner of the screen.
Creating a New Account
If you are a new MightyMeeting user, you must create a new account before you can begin using the service. Touch the "Create an Account" button located at the bottom of the login screen.
In the form that opens, enter the following information:
- Your full name. This name will be shown to other users.
- Your email address. We are committed to protecting your privacy and do not share your email address with others.
- Your MightyMeeting password. This must be entered twice to ensure correctness.
When you are finished, touch the "Done" button in the upper right corner of the screen. You will be immediately taken to the application's home screen.
Note: you can also create a new account by filling out the registration form online.
Recovering Lost Password
If you forget your MightyMeeting password, you can request that a new password be generated and sent to you. You can do this by touching the "Recover Password" button on the login screen. In the form that opens, enter the same email address that you used to register with the system and then hit the "Send" button in the upper right corner of the screen. The system will generate a new password and send it to the email address entered in the form.
Editing Profile Information
You can change your profile information any time by touching the profile button in the lower left corner of the application home screen.
The profile form is identical to that of the new account form. You can enter a new display name or email address for your account. You can also change password.
Note that changes you make here also affect your online account settings. If you change your email address or password in this form, you must use the new email and password when logging into the MightyMeeting web site online.
This also means that when you change your email and password online in the profile section, you must use the new values when logging into the iPhone application.
Managing and Sharing Presentations
Adding New Presentations
You can add a new presentation to your MightyMeeting library either by uploading it online or by emailing it to your MightyMeeting email address.
See the Getting Started document for the online version of the application for instructions on how to upload a presentation.
When you log into the iPhone application for the first time, it automatically adds your MightyMeeting email address to the address book on your device. You can use this entry to forward presentations to MightyMeeting from the Mail application running on your iPhone.
Your MightyMeeting address must appear in the To or Cc field of the email message containing the presentation. MightyMeeting can process presentations in PPT, PPTX, and PDF formats. It may take a few minutes before the presentation is added to your library. To see the new presentation, you need to touch the "Refresh" button in the toolbar on the home screen of the application:
MightyMeeting does not automatically refresh this list to avoid unnecessary network traffic.
Browsing the List of Presentations
The home screen of the MightyMeeting application is showing a list of all presentations in your library. You can scroll up and down in the list. It is initially showing the 12 most recently uploaded presentations. You can touch the "Load More..." button to see more presentations.
MightyMeeting presentations can be of two types: public and private. Private presentations are only visibile to you. They can be emailed to other people or shared temporarily in online meetings. Public presentations are visible to everyone. They can be shared in blog entries and social networks. Public presentations are sometimes also referred to as "shared" presentations.
The buttons at the top of the home screen can be used to filter the list of presentations by their type. You may request to see only private presentations, only public presentations, or all presentations regardless of their type.
Searching for Presentations
You can search for presentations matching certain keywords by entering these keywords in the search box at the top of the screen and hitting the "Search" button. The matching presentations will be displayed in the order of their relevance.
To clear the search results, touch the search box and hit the "Cancel" button.
Deleting a Presentation
When browsing presentations, you can flick your finger from left to right across a row containing a presentation in order to delete this presentation. The row will display a "Delete" button. Tap this button to delete the presentation.
The deletion is immediate and permanent. If you published the presentation on other sites, such as Facebook or Twitter, it will no longer be available to visitors of those sites.
Viewing a Presentation
When browsing presentations, you can touch a row in the table to view the presentation detail view. This screen is showing thumbnail images for slides in the presentation.
You can tap a thumbnail image to view the corresponding slide. You can flick your finger across the slide image to go to the next or previous slide. You can also rotate your phone to see a larger version of the slide image in the landscape view.

When in the landscape view, you can use the pinch maneuver to zoom in to a detail in the slide image.
Sharing a Presentation
MightyMeeting presentations can be public or private. Private presentations are only available to you. They can be sent via email or shared temporarily in online meetings. Public presentations are visible to the entire world. They can be shared in blogs or social networks. Public presentations are also sometimes referred to as "shared" presentations.
To change a presentation to public or private, open the presentation detail view and then tap the "Public/Private" button located in the toolbar.
The button looks like a padlock. This lock is open if the presentation is public. It is closed if the presentation is private. You close or open the lock by touching it. This requires a round trip to the server. You may wait a couple of seconds for the operation to complete.
Sending a Presentation via Email
In order to send a presentation via email, switch to the presentation detail view and touch the "Share" button located in the lower left corner of the screen.
This will bring up the share menu for the presentation. Touch the "Email Document" button in the menu.
In the email form, you can enter the email address of the recipient. You can also change the text in the subject field and in the body of the message. When the message is sent, the MightyMeeting server automatically adds the presentation as an attachment to the email message.
The email form is fully integrated with the address book on your device. You can push the little blue plus button that appears in the "To:" field of the email form to bring up the address book and choose a recipient.
Posting a Presentation to Facebook
A public presentation can be posted to your Facebook news feed. The entry in the feed will contain the presentation thumbnail and a link that can be used to view the presentation and submit comments.

In order to post a presentation to Facebook, switch to the presentation detail view and touch the "Share" button located in the lower left corner of the screen. This will bring up the share menu for the presentation. Tap the "Post to Facebook" button in the menu.
This will bring up the Facebook Connect for iPhone wizard that will walk you through the steps required to publish the presentation to your Wall and your friends' home pages.
Posting a Presentation to Twitter
A public presentation can be posted to your Twitter update stream. It is posted as a status update message with a link to the page that can be used to view the presentation. Other Twitter users can reply to your post or retweet it to their followers.

In order to post a presentation to Twitter, switch to the presentation detail view and touch the "Share" button located in the lower left corner of the screen. This will bring up the share menu for the presentation. Tap the "Post to Twitter" button in the menu.
When you do this for the first time, MightyMeeting will prompt you to enter your Twitter username and password. This information will be used to communcate on your behalf with the Twitter service. It will be saved in the Settings area on your device in the MightyMeeting section, and can be changed there.
Once connection with the Twitter service is established, you will be asked to enter a status update message. This message will be posted to your Twitter update stream together with a link to the presentation.
Managing Online Meetings
With MightyMeeting you can share slides remotely with your audience directly from your iPhone. You can do this by starting an online meeting an inviting other people to join as participants.
Meeting participants do not need the MightyMeeting application installed on their iPhone in order to join the meeting. All they need is a web browser that can be running on a computer or on a smart phone, such as an iPhone or an Android phone. Support for Blackberry devices is planned.
Starting a Meeting
Meetings are started on-demand when needed. It is not yet possible to schedule a meeting in advance.
To start a meeting, switch to the presentation detail view and touch the "Share" button located in the lower left corner of the screen. This will bring up the share menu for the presentation. Tap the "Meet Now Online" button in the menu. This will open a window that looks like the one shown below.
You can flick your finger across the slide image to go to the next or previous slide. As you change a slide in the meeting, the change is immediately broadcast to all meeting participants. It may take a few seconds for the change to propagate to all of them.
You can view a larger image of the slide by rotating the phone to the landscape view. The meeting controls will disappear from the screen, but you will still be able to navigate in the presentation by flicking the finger across the screen. You can zoom in to a detail in a slide using the pinch maneuver.
Inviting Participants
To invite other people to join the meeitng, touch the "People" icon at the bottom of the screen. In the view that opens, touch the "Invite" button.
In the meeting invitation form you can enter the subject of the meeting and a brief message. The link for joining the meeting online will be added tot he message automatically before it is sent to the recipients. The invitation form is integrated with the address book on your device. You can pick either an email address or a mobile phone number from the address book and add it to the "To:" field in the form.
If you use a mobile phone number to send a meeting invitation, the invitation will be sent as an SMS message. At the moment MightyMeeting can only send invitations to U.S. phone numbers that belong to iPhone and Android devices.
Posting Chat Messages
The "Chat" tab of the meeting interface can be used to post instant messages. These messages are broadcast to all meeting participants. An instant message can be used to ask a question or to make an announcement. To post a message, enter the message into the text field that appears at the top of the screen and tap "Send".
Leaving a Meeting
To leave the meeting, tap the "Exit" button located in the lower right corner of the screen.
Since you are the meeting organizer, leaving the meeting will also end the meeting for all participants.
